Matt Dumpert is an Oakland father, husband, and homeowner who lives here, raises his family here, and coaches our kids in Recreation basketball as well as soccer. Unlike career politicians, he is a lifelong independent with extraordinary experience: a former U.S. Special Agent and Diplomat who served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State and U.S. Ambassadors.  As a successful business executive and Global Practice Leader advising on risks, resiliency, and preparedness, he knows how to solve complex problems and deliver results.
